This time, a legal video streaming search site JustWatch.com\u00a0recently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justwatch.com\/us\/is-google-supporting-piracy\" rel=\"nofollow\">reported<\/a> that\u00a0search giant didn\u2019t deliver on its promise of bursting down the nexus of illegal sites through its recent algorithmic update.<\/p>\n<p>This was after when Google <a href=\"http:\/\/searchengineland.com\/dmca-requests-now-used-in-googles-ranking-algorithm-130118\" rel=\"nofollow\">announced<\/a> three years ago that it will come down heavily on such sites offering illegal\/pirated content to be downloaded by users. Google even pushed\u00a0a <a href=\"http:\/\/searchengineland.com\/library\/google\/google-pirate-update\" rel=\"nofollow\">pirate update<\/a> to check the pirated content based websites <a href=\"http:\/\/searchengineland.com\/reports-google-pirate-update-rolled-week-206620\" rel=\"nofollow\">last October<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The reporting site further says that it indeed was true for a site like torrent, which enables the users to download unlimited free pirated content from its site. Below is the infographic data indicating a drop in the site\u2019s (torrent.com) Google indexing capabilities, just after the pirate update was rolled out.<\/p>\n<p>Besides that, the reporting site found no such impact on 20 other illegal\/pirated sites, which are still actively offering their services to online users. Based on JustWatch.com\u2019s findings below is the infographic data (post update) revealing the truth behind Google\u2019s ambiguous ways of functioning.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>From the above reports, it\u2019s pretty clear that Google hasn\u2019t really resolved the matter as yet and it will certainly take some more time to completely abstain such sites from showcasing pirated content in its search domain.<\/p>\n<p>Readers: We would love to hear from you.
