Quite similar to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.agencyplatform.com\/blog\/googles-much-awaited-amp-project-goes-live-for-specific-mobile-searches\/\"><span class=\"s2\">Google&#8217;s AMP project<\/span><\/a>, Canvas bolsters the loading speed of an ad on mobile, making it 10 times faster than the standard mobile web speed. Native advertisers can also customize this platform to enhance their users&#8217; overall quality of mobile ad experience. Before launching Canvas globally, Facebook <a href=\"http:\/\/marketingland.com\/facebook-starts-testing-immersive-mobile-ads-141364\" rel=\"nofollow\"><span class=\"s2\">tested the new ad experience<\/span><\/a> with a small group of major brands and agencies, last year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Another reason behind the roll-out of Canvas was to provide brands and agencies with creative freedom. They can now express themselves by building and promoting their brand stories without limiting their online presence. Facebook was mindful of the slow loading speed of a mobile friendly websites and that\u2019s why they wanted to create a platform for Native Mobile Advertisers along the lines of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.agencyplatform.com\/blog\/google-denies-reports-that-amp-is-a-search-ranking-signal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Google\u2019s AMP<\/a> project.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Facebook&#8217;s Canvas supports all types of video formats, graphical representation, texts and call-to-action buttons. Moreover, it doesn&#8217;t require any code or software installation as such.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Through Canvas, Facebook is expanding its <a href=\"http:\/\/marketingland.com\/facebook-instant-articles-roll-out-164830\" rel=\"nofollow\"><span class=\"s2\">instant articles<\/span><\/a> reach by providing advertisers with a platform that promises faster mobile experience, without any delays. In a way by improving its mobile ad experience, Facebook is looking at increasing its advertising revenue, which currently sits at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.adweek.com\/news\/technology\/facebooks-q1-ad-revenue-increased-46-percent-33-billion-164234\" rel=\"nofollow\"><span class=\"s2\">73% of its total ad revenue strength<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">By improving the quality of its native immersive ads experience, Facebook&#8217;s Canvas allows brands and agencies to promote their real brand stories and enhances users&#8217; overall ad experience.
