We, as a part of the global netizen community, have been spammed on numerous occasions through fake downloads, spam emailers and other such fake notifications that threaten to hijack our confidential information. Then we address our concerns to Google thinking that they will be acted upon by the search giant.

Google does acknowledge the issue of spam and reportedly takes action on 65% of the 35,000 user-generated spam submissions on a monthly basis. At least that is what Juan Felipe Rincon from Google’s Manual Action panel conveyed to a large gathering at the SMX West, 2016 Expo.

In addition to that, Rincon revealed that Google takes action on the spam reports on a priority basis, considering the level of threat they cause to the users. Google rewards users who are good at spam reporting on a frequent basis by taking action on their spam related incident on the first priority basis.
